In this volume of PALMA, 15 papers are presented about the archaeology of religion and religious practices, the archaeology of landscape as well as cultural geography. Cultural geography comprises the material results of processes in which ancient individuals and groups shaped their religion and were shaped by reilgion in return. The authors discuss religious practices, the transmission of texts and images, and the study of religious landscapes in Egypt, Sudan and even parts of Asia from antiquity to present times.
