Dit is het lichaam van een jonge jongen en de enige menselijke mummie in het RMO die is uitgepakt. De jongen ligt op zijn rug, met zijn armen langs zijn zijden en de vingers uitgestrekt. De kin ligt op de borstkas, de oogleden zijn half gesloten en de oogkassen zijn leeg. De tong is zichtbaar tussen de lippen, de neusgaten staan open en de oren zijn goed bewaard gebleven. Er zijn geen zichtbare overblijfselen van haar, wenkbrauwen en wimpers. Het lichaam is in grote mate ingedroogd, waardoor met name de botten onder de huid zichtbaar zijn. In de linkerzij van het jongetje zit een ovaal gat, dat aangebracht is tijdens het mummificatieproces om de ingewanden te verwijderen. De huid is erg verdroogd en hierdoor zijn er verschillende scheuren te zien op de torso, het hoofd en de ledematen. Over het hele lichaam zijn nog sporen van een soort resin te zien, aangebracht om het lichaam beter te conserveren. This is the body of a young boy, and the only human mummy in the RMO which has been unwrapped. The body is quite hard. It is lying on the back, with the arms extended along the sides and the fingers stretched. The chin has been pressed onto the chest. The eyelids are half-open with empty sockets, the tongue is visible between the lips. The nostrils are likewise partly open, and the ears are well preserved. There are no visible remains of hair, eyebrows, or lashes. The soft tissue of body and limbs has shrunk considerably, leaving hardly more than skin and bones. There is a large oval aperture on the left side of the abdomen, doubtless the incision made by the embalmers, and the abdominal cavity behind is largely empty. The skin over the sternum shows an open crack, and there are several other cracks on the head, torso, and limbs. Remains of the genitals are still visible; a broken stick or stalk protruding just above the penis probably served as reinforcement of the member. The whole skin is covered with a glossy layer of a resinous substance, mainly dark brown but with some patches of a yellow hue, with thicker crusts on the skull, sides, and back. In some places the linen wrappings have left an imprint in this layer, whereas considerable remains of coarse textile still adhere to the rear of the skull, neck, and the back.
