Hall rental

In the majestic Temple Hall of the National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden, you can stand eye to eye with an authentic, two-thousand-year-old Egyptian temple. The perfect place for your special reception or dinner. You can not only receive your guests in a unique atmosphere, but also give them a cultural treat in the museum. With a visit to the permanent or temporary exhibitions, you can have them enjoy the many top pieces from the collection.

Versatile Temple Hall

The Temple Hall is perfect for hosting various events:

• reception
• concert
• lecture
• symposium (only on Mondays)
• buffet
• wedding

Depending on the occasion, you can receive 50 to 450 guests in the hall. The National Museum of Antiquities has a wealth of experience hosting events so we are easy to do business with. Do you have specific wishes? We'd like to hear them!

The Temple Hall is available outside of the museum's regular hours:

• daily from 5:30 p.m. 
• Monday (except during school holidays) from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
