Group rate

When you visit the permanent presentations or temporary exhibitions of the museum with a group, you can enjoy a special price. For groups from 10 persons (not counting museum card holders), receive €1,50 discount per person on the admission fee. The discount does not count in combination with other discounts. The requirement is that you make a reservation via telephone number (+31) (0)71 - 5163 163 or by sending an e-mail.

Note: school groups use a separate reservation system

Surcharge exhibition Etruscans

For the duration of the exhibition Etruscans (14 October 2011 to 18 March 2012), there will be a surcharge of €3 for all adult visitors to the two museums, in addition to standard admission rates. You need only pay this surcharge at one museum. If you present your ticket for the first exhibition when you visit the second museum, then you will not have to pay the surcharge again.

Tours

Booking a tour with an expert guide is worth it for groups. You receive even more information about antiquity, top pieces and the museum's collection during a tour. And you may hear special anecdotes.

You can book a tour for the permanent presentations and temporary exhibitions:

The museum has guides who can give tours in Dutch, English, French or German. A tour takes an hour; the maximum group size is 25. As a group you can also visit the museum with your own guide.

Prices for tours with museum guides: €75 per hour (not including museum admission, maximum of 25 people).

Highlights route

At the museum's reception desk, you can take a 'highlights route'. This will show you all the highlights from the entire collection. You get brief information about each object. The highlights route is available English, German, Spanish, French and Italian.
