Museum's mission

The National Museum of Antiquities wants to see a large, varied public learn about ancient cultures that have had an influence on the development of Dutch society. The museum offers access to its collections from ancient Egypt, the classical world, the ancient Near East and early Netherlands, and informs the public in an active and high-quality way about those collections and the connected insights.
