Major works on Google Art Project

At the beginning of the month, high-definition photographs of 273 objects from the museum’s collection were added to the Google Art Project. This website brings together a vast number of important works from 184 museums and art collections from all over the world. Google launched the site at the beginning of 2011 and expanded it considerably in 2012. There are currently more than 35,000 objects on display.
29 new collections added in November
You will find the National Museum of Antiquities under its Dutch name — Rijksmuseum van Oudheden — in the category 'recently added'. The 29 collections added in November include Centraal Museum Utrecht, Art Gallery of South Australia, Latvian National Museum of Art, Museo Arqueológico de Alicante MARQ, and Palazzo Vecchio Museum.
