Transporting objects to another museum
The National Museum of Antiquities has an extensive collection of more than 80,000 archaeological objects. There are some exceptional pieces in the collection. The Egyptian collection, for instance, is one of the ten most important in the world. No wonder that other museums often knock at our door to ask for some objects on loan. These are objects that they wish to display in their own museums for a longer or shorter period.
By loaning objects out we can ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy the collection of the National Museum of Antiquities. Sometimes the museum even loans top-class pieces out so that people - for instance, outside the country - can admire these beautiful objects.
